I think the only way to go will be a 2.0 TFSI. Looking at APR tuning, they can take it up to 400+ BHP with a Stage 3. I won't go that far I think, but a Stage 1 of 250 BHP would be fantastic! I might look in to doing this further in into the year, going to do the suspension and brakes first. In most cases, the Audi TFSI engine has proved reliable but, as with all engines, correct and timely maintenance is the key to longevity. Pre-2012 TFSI engines may have higher-than-average oil consumption, which could be nothing to worry about but in some cases signifies that the piston rings in the engine may be worn. The EA113 2.0 TFSI engine series in its design has hydraulic lifters, a phase shifter on the intake shaft, and a system of direct injection of the fuel. Also, the toothed belt is used, which need to be replaced for every 80-100 thousand km.. Otherwise, thr toothed belt breakage results inevitably in a valve bent.
