I have a 2007 LR3 SE with the V8. While driving my LR3, I get the warning "HDC Fault System Not Available" with the following lights coming on the dash (ignore the TPS light.

For sure if it is down a faulty compressor will prevent the suspension coming back up but it does not cause it to drop - this is a function of valve blocks and the suspension ECU.

Valve Block solenoid fault Diagnosis. Common fault with Land Rover air suspension valve solenoids is they stop distributing the air pressure to the individual air struts controlled by the air suspension system or you may get a corner of the vehicle sinking down overnight ,their are usually 3 solenoid valve blocks ! 2 airbag/strut solenoids

Fault code pulled with Faultmate is C1A20 - pressure increases too slow when filling reservoir (Intermittent algorithm based failure) It seems most of these are a dying compressor - this in my 07 LR3 which to my knowledge has the original unit. Hey, so I recently got an 08 lr3 se and I am stoked! Upon getting it there has been a suspension fault. The previous owner put a 2in lift and 265/70 r18's on it. I will most likely be putting on a coil conversion instead of the air. My recommendation is to not put on a coil conversion kit.
Hi All I need some extra brain power. I have just refurbished my suspension compressor changing the piston and cylinder. The compressor starts to run smooth when I first start the car but after about a minute I see that the compressor starts to slow down for 10 seconds then stutters and stops. Code thrown DTC C1A27 Normal Height Only.

I purchased the full work shop service manual and found out 4lBo.
